Kenny Maistry
Kenny started out on campus radio in 1988 and although he completed his B.SC degree, he always knew he wanted a career in radio.
He joined Capital Radio in Durban in 1992 and hosted various shows including Breakfast, the Afternoon Drive and the emotional final show for the station which sadly closed in 1996.
Kenny moved to Joburg and spent 15 years between 947 and Metro FM, where he hosted the breakfast show from 2009 to 2011. His Time Tunnel feature on 947, which celebrated classic hits, was a popular favourite with listeners.
Kenny is also recognisable from the TV shows 30 Seconds to Fame on SABC3 & Soul Cooking with Kenny Maistry on Top Gospel, as well as through his extensive voice over work.
