Jon Carter
Birthday
June 8, 1956, Elko Nevada.
Hometown
I was raised in Ketchum and Sun Valley, Idaho, however, I’m a Utahan through and through.
Jon's been waking up Utah for 100 years! He's currently celebrating his centennial! He started at KRSP-FM (Rock 103), in 1980, moved to Z-93 in 1989, he even played country music on K-Bull for a few months, (got tired of playing songs like "She Got The Ring, and I Got The Finger").
Jumpin' JC wound-up at Utah's Classic, 103.5, The Arrow in 1996, and we can't get rid of him! Although born in Elko, Nevada, raised from a pup in Ketchum-Hailey, Idaho, he's a local boy through and through. Jon's hobbies include fishin', huntin' campin' and other outdoor activities that you can put an apostrophe on. He drives to the Arrow every morning from Sandy, Utah, where he lives with his hot wife Cidny, and 3 kids, Quinton, Carson, and Eden. Jon has 3 other great kids too, Stephanie, Erik, and Jonathen! Jon's most cherished professional possession is the plaque that Arrowheads made for him a number of years ago. It reads " To Jumpin' JC, for 25 years of waking up The Wasatch Front. Your 7 listeners!" Jon's advise for life? Please Rock responsibly!
