Sandy started working at WQMX in May 2014. She has been kicking around in the radio business for 30 plus years. She got her start in Sandusky when she was still in broadcasting school, spent 6 years in West Texas at stations and working odd jobs to make ends meet. It was there that she learned to do the Texas 2-step on the biggest dance floor in West Texas and shine a mean cowboy boot, she even had a boyfriend named Jesse James – it’s a Texas thing. Sandy has also worked at radio stations in Cleveland and Columbus. Sandy loves animals so much that at one time she had shared her home with 4 dogs, 4 cats and a talking parrot and yes, they got to sleep on the bed. Except the parrot, that would've been weird.
